Disney's Jack Jack Chocolate Chip Cookies VS My Grandma Olsen's Chocolate Chip Cookies | Vegan

During this crazy time, Disney decided to release some of their famous snack recipes and one of them was Jack Jack’s Chocolate Chip Cookie. I was curious, so I looked at the recipe. For the most part, it’s a pretty basic chocolate chip cookie recipe. But people seem to LOVE the cookie. So I thought I would give it a try and see how good it really is. And why not compare it to one of my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipes by my Great Grandma?

Also, I realized after I baked the cookies that I forgot to add an “egg yolk” which is probably why the dough was so dry at first.

In the end I will say that browning the butter gives the cookie a richer buttery flavor.

The cookies are delicious, but if I make them again I’m going to use different vegan butter and less salt.

Do you have any chocolate chip cookie tricks to make them taste better? Let me know in the comments down below!
